Service Description

How to regulate our deepest neurophysiology; creating the environment for healing, restoration and growth by establishing Safety through movement, breath and body work when working with Clients A practical exploration of Polyvagal Theory, Stress and Trauma. 2 days of Experience, Explanation and Integration An Ultimate Wellbeing course for body workers, coaches, talking and physical therapists, diet and nutritional professionals and healers. Course Objectives and Format The course will be run over 2 days; a blend of theory and practice of somatic and breath technique. It will offer the opportunity to develop a plan for the practitioner to integrate the learnings into their therapeutic process. All training is experiential, following the Ultimate Wellbeing EEI framework: Experience, Explain, Integrate By the end of the course, the participant will be able to: 1 Understand and articulate basic Physiology of stress, trauma and emotion and how this could impact Posture, Movement, Breath, Language, Narrative 2 Understand and articulate the basic concepts of Polyvagal Theory and the function of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) in a Polyvagal context 3 Cultivate awareness of and relay their experience of basic breathwork and somatic activation techniques for self-regulation and grounding and how this contributes to their practice 4 Understand and teach basic breathwork and somatic activation techniques to clients to facilitate a (neurologically and psychologically) safe state that encourages stress release and healing 5 Define and explain a personal integration plan for how they will implement the learning from the course in their day-to-day practice; considering the Client, the Client/Practitioner Relationship and the treatment Environment.


Cancellation Policy

For Appointments Cancellations within 24 ours of the scheduled appointment will be charged for in full unless otherwise agreed. Rescheduling within 24 hours will be treated as a cancellation. For monthly subscriptions, if cancelling in the billing period, more than 7 days notice is needed for cancellation of the subsequent period, unless agreed otherwise. Cancelling in the period does not give a refund. The service remains available for the remainder of the paid for period. For Events, Workshops and Bespoke Client Fixtures Cancellations within 1 week of the scheduled start will be charged for in full unless by prior agreement. Cancellations earlier than 1 week prior to the scheduled start will incur a 50% forfeit of fee unless prior agreement is reached. Clients can request only one scheduled event date change (bespoke and corporate events only) without incurring a forfeit. Subsequent changes must be dealt with by cancelling and requesting a new event. After which the event will be deemed cancelled and the cancellation fees apply.
